Mike & Clare's Farm CSA

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It's a relationship between the community and farm. The community supports the farm by buying a share of the farm's harvest in advance of the season. This helps the farm plan and plant -- CSA shares purchased in February help the farmer buy things like potting mix, seeds, and heat for the greenhouse for cold spring nights. In return, members receive a share of the farm's harvest, picked at the height of freshness.
